PROJECT
Gift Local wanted to build an eGift card solution that focused on being able to serve local small businesses to enterprise sized clients. Gift Local needed a user friendly consumer experience to purchase gift cards from any of its customers, but also wanted the experience to be on brand for each of the restaurants using it.
objectstudio was engaged to create the underlying systems including integration with payment processing providers and a content management system capable of allowing each merchant to customize their own digital gift cards, their gift card purchase sites, and create a promotion system allowing paying customers to create promotions to help them drive business and acquire new customers. Furthermore, objectstudio was responsible for integrating Gift Local’s system with POS systems enabling the capability of offering item based gift cards; which is an extremely powerful tool to target certain products and purchases for marketing campaigns.
In addition to the gift card and payment processing capabilities, Gift Local provides a merchant redemption app and a robust reporting system which empowers its merchants to manage its gift card program, track performance and further build their online revenue stream.
